In this exciting role, you’ll be an integral part of our in-house technical team, tackling daily tasks in both mechanical and electrical fields. Our site filled with cutting-edge technology in a large-scale technical installation, promises a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for growth.
What you do on a typical day as Technician:
- Conducting routine maintenance and adjustments to minimize downtime
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in equipment and infrastructure
- Implementing technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
- Engaging in mechanical dismantling and rebuilding tasks
- Proactively managing repairs and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Technical education at MBO level, within Mechanical and Electrical field (mechatronics would be an added bonus) or experience in a similar role
- A service-oriented mindset and a knack for problem-solving
- Perseverance, practicality, flexibility, and stress resilience
- A commitment to safety and a cool head under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills paired with the ability to work independently
