Job Opportunity: MediorSenior IT Project Manager – Netherlands

Location: Onsite or hybrid (Netherlands – multiple locations)
Employment Type: ZZP (freelance) or Payroll

Who You Are

You are a skilled project management professional with a solid track record in delivering IT or digital transformation projects. You are comfortable working in structured environments while applying adaptive methodologies where needed. You may have held titles such as:

  • IT Project Manager
  • Product owner
  • Epic Owner
  • Digital Project Manager
  • Technical Project Lead
  • Program Manager
  • Scrum Master with project ownership
  • Change Manager with delivery responsibility

You are a proactive leader who ensures alignment between business goals, technical execution, and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the endtoend delivery of IT, digital, or infrastructure projects from initiation to closure
Apply appropriate methodologies including Agile, PRINCE2, SAFe, or hybrid frameworks
Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
Facilitate decisionmaking and resolve issues across departments and levels
Drive change management activities to support adoption and minimize resistance
Provide regular progress reporting to project boards and senior management

Requirements

Essential:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or digital project management
  • Proven experience with Agile, PRINCE2, and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in sectors such as hightech, manufacturing, healthcare, IT, or logistics
  • Available for ZZP or payroll engagement

Preferred Certifications (required or highly preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • AgilePM or SAFe Agilist
  • PROSCI (Change Management)
  • IPMA Level B, C, or D

Tools & Frameworks:

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Familiarity with hybrid project delivery models
  • Knowledge of risk, dependency, and change management practices
