Event Technologist (Fulltime)
Are you looking for a new step in your career? Do you want to be part of a vibrant, international team? 7BEAUFORT is searching for a skilled Event Technologist to join our Meeting & Event team, working directly for and at our client – a Global Footwear, Apparel, and Sports Company with its European headquarters based in Hilversum.

Your Focus
As an Event Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to create and build registration websites in Cvent Flex. This includes everything from simple setups to complex designs with multiple registration paths and sessions. Your keen eye for detail and strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be key.
You’ll be part of the EHQ events team, which is responsible for all kind of events; from simple meetings to more complex experiences with production and offsite elements.

Key responsibilities
Developing both simple and complex sites with Building Cvent Flex registration websites: various registration paths and sessions.
Developing and managing Meeting Request Forms (MRF) and Request Websites (Access Portals): Streamlining internal and external requests and access to event information.
Handling housing, room block management, and air travel requests.
Supporting with the build, configuration, and delivery of projects using in-house technology and equipment.
Troubleshooting Delegate Management solution technology issues and escalating when necessary.
Assisting with identifying appropriate technical solutions based on project briefs for both registration websites and onsite needs.
Creating Cvent themes and landing pages, and ability to import data into event websites.

Your Profile
We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented individual with:
1-3 years of hands-on experience specifically building registration websites using Cvent Flex.
Cvent Advanced Event Management Certification
Able to work independently, take initiative, and own projects from start to finish.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, innovative, and solutions-oriented mindset, thriving in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
Comfortable interacting with event teams and lead stakeholders to explain technical limitations or options.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Cvent/Flex Expertise Level
You should possess a solid understanding of Cvent’s Flex registration builder, including:
Widgets, page logic, and layout options.
Building multi-path registration flows, conditional logic, and dynamic content.
Familiarity with event templates, custom branding, and reusability for efficiency.
Attention to detail to test logic paths, validate confirmation emails, and ensure all registration scenarios function properly.
Ability to gather requirements from event owners and translate them into a site structure.
Managing timelines for development, feedback, testing, and go-live.
Ability to create Cvent themes and landing pages, and import data into event websites (as required by Cvent certification).

Nice to Have
These skills would be a great bonus:
HTML/CSS (Basic): Ability to customize the look and feel beyond default Flex options, useful for branding, styling widgets, and embedding multimedia or custom code snippets.
Data Integration & Field Mapping: Competence in creating custom registration questions, configuring contact fields, and mapping them correctly to reports or integrations. Understanding of Cvent contact management, invitation lists, and data collection best practices.
Reporting & Dashboard Building: Experience using Cvent reporting tools (Standard and Cross-Event Reports). Ability to design reports and dashboards tailored to stakeholders (e.g., attendee summaries, session attendance, budget tracking).
Quality Assurance & Testing: Familiarity with Cvent’s Preview and Test Mode, plus end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
Cvent Integrations Knowledge: Experience with integrating Cvent with other platforms.
